20-Year-Old Man Killed in Head-On Collision near Nordoff Street

CHATSWORTH, CA (February 10, 2022) – Thursday morning, a two-vehicle crash on North Winnetka Avenue claimed one person’s life. 

The fatal collision happened around 6:05 a.m., at the 8900 block of North Winnetka Ave near the Nordhoff Street intersection. 

According to reports, the impact sent one of the vehicles into the yard of a residence in the area. 

Responding firefighters arrived and managed to extricate the 20-year-old man trapped inside his vehicle in the yard. Unfortunately, he sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries. 

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the North Winnetka Avenue two-vehicle crash remain unknown. Chatsworth Officials redirected the motorists away from the area to investigate further.
