50-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Semi-Truck Accident near Pacific Avenue
WEST COVINA, CA (January 27, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, Frederick Ibarra Jr. was killed in a fiery big-rig collision on 10 Freeway.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:16 a.m., along the westbound lanes of San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Pacific Avenue.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that first responders located a big-rig and white Honda on fire near the center divider.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one driver dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later identified the deceased victim as 50-year-old Ibarra Jr.
