One Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Signal Peak Road

CASA GRANDE, AZ (February 17, 2023) – Monday, one person was killed and multiple were hurt in a rear-end accident on State Route 287.

Authorities received dispatch calls in the area at mile post 120 near Signal Peak Road.

Per reports, the driver of a Lexus rear-ended a Kia that was waiting to turn onto Signal Peak Road. Upon impact, the Kia was pushed into oncoming traffic where it was hit by a passing truck.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced one occupant dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported several others to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
