Wan Mei Tan Pronounced Dead after Collision on 16th Street.

San Francisco, CA (January 19, 2023) – Tuesday night, Wan Mei Tan was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on Valencia Street.

The incident happened on January 10th, at around 5:51 p.m., at the intersection of Valencia Street and 16th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Per reports, Tan was in the crosswalk at the intersection when a 2019 Dodge Ram Towmaster, making a left onto 16th Street, struck her. The impact of the collision left the woman with serious injuries.

After the crash, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

First responders rendered aid to the victim, however, her injuries were too severe. Medics pronounced 64-year-old Wan Mei Tan dead at the scene.
