DUI Hit-and-Run near Silver Lake Boulevard Left Two Hurt, One Arrested
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 17, 2023) – Friday morning, police arrested Jamie Koz following a suspected DUI hit-and-run on Maltman Avenue.
Los Angeles Authorities responded to reports of an incident around 11:30 p.m., at the 1300 block of Maltman Avenue in Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, police located a Tesla that had collided with multiple parked vehicles along Silver Lake Boulevard. Officials also added that the Tesla crashed into another vehicle in the driveway of a Maltman Avenue residence.
Per witnesses at the scene, the Tesla driver attempted to escape the area and collided with two unidentified individuals, hospitalizing one and injuring the other.
Ultimately, authorities managed to arrest 52-year-old Jamie Koz at the scene, under suspicion of felony DUI.
