20-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Walker Street

ORLAND, CA (January 17, 2023) – Thursday night, 20-year-old Gustabo Ramirez was pronounced dead after a motorcycle collision on 6th Street.

According to Orland Officials, the accident occurred around 7:40 p.m., January 12th, when Ramirez was doing wheelies in his motorcycle along Walker Street.

Police then chased Ramirez as he continued traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2015 Yamaha FZ07.

Furthermore, Ramirez failed to yield at a red light at the intersection of East Walker Street and Papst Avenue. As a result, he collided with a red Subaru, ejecting Ramirez from his motorcycle.

First responders arrived and pronounced 20-year-old Ramirez dead due to the extent of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Subaru was evaluated and was later released, while the driver of the Toyota was hospitalized for further treatment. Walker Street and 6th Street were closed down for cleanup duties.
