Cooper Lamb and Infant Dead, Brian Torres Arrested after T-Bone Crash on Elliot Road [Gilbert, AZ]
Two Dead, One Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle T-Bone Collision near Cole Drive
GILBERT, AZ (January 20, 2023) – Friday afternoon, Cooper Lamb and his infant child were killed in a t-bone crash on Elliot Road.
Police responded to the scene around 3:45 p.m., near Cole Drive on December 16th.
Per reports, 21-year-old Brian Torres was driving a pickup-truck west and T-boned a red Toyota Corolla as it attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Cole Drive.
First responders arrived and attempted life-saving measures on all three occupants inside the Toyota.
Due to the extent of their condition, medics pronounced 22-year-old Lamb and his infant daughter dead at the scene. In addition, paramedics took the driver of the Toyota to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Following preliminary duties, officers determined that the infant was secured in a rear-facing car seat. In addition, police arrested Torres for possible impairment.
The loved ones of the deceased family set up a GoFundMe account to help with costs during this time.
