60-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Waterman Road
ELK GROVE, CA (January 18, 2023) – Thursday night, Insuk Lancaster was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Sheldon Road.
Police responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m., between Waterman and Bradshaw Road on December 15th.
Per reports, the driver of a white Lexus was heading east and struck Lancaster as she was walking in the area. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 60-year-old Lancaster dead at the scene.
In addition, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, officers do not believe that speed, alcohol, or drugs were potential factors.
