19-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Collision near Hamilton SMART Train Station
NOVATO, CA (December 19, 2022) – Sunday, Robert Armond Lombardi was arrested and a woman was hurt in a hit-and-run on Main Gate Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 3:00 p.m., near the Hamilton SMART Train Station on December 11th.
Upon arrival, first responders found the woman lying on the east side of the parking lot entrance to the Hamilton SMART Train Station.
Per reports, 74-year-old Lombardi was driving in the area when he struck a female pedestrian and immediately fled the scene. Due to the impact of the crash, the woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
On Monday, around 10:00 a.m., police located the suspect vehicle. As a result, officers arrested and charged Lombardi with felony hit-and-run, and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
