Austin Dean Henderson Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 1st Avenue [Tucson, AZ]
44-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash near East Wetmore Road
TUCSON, AZ (December 14, 2022) – Thursday night, Austin Dean Henderson lost his life in a pedestrian accident at North 1st Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 7:00 p.m., near East Wetmore Road on November 24th.
According to Tucson police, Henderson, 44, was crossing northwest while pushing a shopping cart when he was hit by a silver 2006 Dodge Charger.
Responding emergency crews rushed Henderson to University Medical Center with critical injuries. Police later confirmed that Henderson succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old Dodge driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
