Electric Scooter Collision on Tracy Boulevard Left One Fatality

TRACY, CA (December 8, 2022) – Thursday morning, an electric scooter accident on 11th Street claimed the life of a man.

The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of 11th Street and Tracy Boulevard.

According to reports, a man riding an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street. 

Responding medical personnel declared the man dead at the scene. However, his identity remains undisclosed pending notification from the next of kin. 

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the site of the incident and cooperated with the investigators. 

Following the crash, authorities closed 11th Street for several hours between Lincoln Boulevard and Tracy Boulevard. There, they performed preliminary and cleanup duties.
