Police Officer Injured in Car Chase Collision near 105 Freeway
HAWTHORNE, CA (December 16, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, an officer was hurt in a car chase on Crenshaw Boulevard.
According to reports, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m., near the 105 Freeway.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear at this time, however, one officer sustained injuries as a result.
Furthermore, Hawthorne Police arrested and took the suspect into custody. No other details were added and an active investigation is underway.
A large portion of the surrounding area was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since be reopened to the public.
