37-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash near Dorothy Petway Park
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 23, 2022) – Late Saturday night, a woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Rigel Street.
Dispatchers received calls in the area around 11:30 p.m., near Dorothy Petway Park on November 20th.
According to reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a woman who was walking along the southbound lanes. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and transported the 37-year-old woman to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, authorities have not yet released her identity.
