65-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Jolly Way
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (November 22, 2022) – Thursday morning, a pedestrian crash on Mission Boulevard claimed the life of William Deis.
The incident happened around 5:10 a.m., near Jolly Way in the city of Jurupa Valley.
According to reports, the driver of a westbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup-truck struck a pedestrian on Mission Boulevard.
Investigators say the driver was unable avoid the pedestrian, causing the collision. Upon impact, the pickup-truck driver immediately stopped and contacted 911.
Responding paramedics arrived shortly after and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased victim as 65-year-old Deis, of Wildomar.
At this time, investigators are still working to determine further circumstances surrounding the crash. Jurupa Valley Officials are asking anyone with information about the pedestrian accident to contact 951-955-2600.
