Traffic Crash near San Marco Boulevard Off-Ramp Kills Pedestrian
BAY POINT, CA (November 18, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a multi-vehicle collision on westbound Highway 4 claimed the life of a pedestrian.
The fatal crash occurred just before 4 a.m. near San Marco Boulevard off-ramp in Contra Costa County.
At this time, the total number of vehicles involved and the circumstances that led to the fatal incident remain unclear.
Unfortunately, the responding officers declared one pedestrian dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
In the end, authorities blocked the westbound lanes of Highway 4 at San Marco Boulevard as units investigated the incident.
