9-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run near Eadington Avenue

FULLERTON, CA (November 18, 2022) – Tuesday night, a 9-year-old girl was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Valencia Drive.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m., near Eadington Avenue in the city of Fullerton. 

Investigators reported that a motorcyclist was heading east on Valencia Drive from Brookhurst Road. There, the rider hit the young girl who was walking south in a marked crosswalk. 

Upon impact, the rider did not render aid to the victim and continued riding east on Valencia. 

Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the 9-year-old girl to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities later described the suspect’s motorcycle as a black “cruiser” type.
