Woman Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near Locust Avenue

HESPERIA, CA (November 16, 2022) – Monday afternoon, one victim was killed and another was injured in an auto collision Bear Valley Road. 

Units from San Bernardino County Fire and Hesperia Police responded to the collision around 1:43 p.m., near Locust Avenue. 

Upon arrival, crews discovered a gold Buick LeSabre and a silver SUV blocking the road with significant damage. 

According to a witness, the SUV going eastbound on Bear Valley Road collided with the Buick making a turn against a red light. 

Responding units requested additional support to extricate a female passenger from the gold sedan. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Buick driver to Desert Valley Hospital for further treatment. In addition, the SUV driver remained unharmed. 

At this time, the identities of those involved in the fatal collision remain undisclosed pending notification from the next of kin.
