1 Killed, 2 Injured in Head-On Collision near East Avenue O
PALMDALE, CA (November 15, 2022) – Saturday, Emmanuel Francisco was killed, and Nain Rosa and Monique Lopez were hurt in a head-on crash.
The collision happened around 6:56 p.m., on 40th Street East near East Avenue O in the city of Palmdale.
Officers say Francisco was driving a 2022 Kia Forte north on 40th Street when he collided head-on with a southbound 202 Toyota Corolla. Upon impact, both vehicles lost control and overturned.
Medics arrived and pronounced 35-year-old Francisco, of Lancaster dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a male passenger inside Francisco’s car, 31-year-old Rosa, of Los Angeles to Antelope Valley Medical Center for further treatment of serious injuries.
In addition, crews took the Toyota Corolla driver, 39-year-old Lopez, of Lancaster and an 11-year-old female passenger to Northridge Hospital.
