1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized after Fiery 3-Car Collision on Magnolia Street [Garden Grove, CA]
One Killed in Fiery Three-Vehicle Accident on Garden Grove Boulevard
GARDEN GROVE, CA (November 14, 2022) – Friday morning, one victim was killed and two were hurt in a fiery 3-car collision on Magnolia Street.
The multi-vehicle crash happened around 1:00 a.m., near Garden Grove Boulevard.
Per reports, the driver of a Tesla was speeding and under the influence. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Investigators say the Tesla caught fire upon impact, causing fatal injuries to a passenger inside. The driver of the Tesla was extricated from the vehicle and said to be in stable condition.
In addition, two other vehicles were involved. Paramedics transported two other victims to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Garden Grove Officials closed the intersection for several hours as crews cleared out the scene.
