Two Hospitalized after Car Crashes into Home near Palm Avenue

LA MESA, CA (November 7, 2022) – Late Saturday morning, two victims sustained injuries in an auto collision on Spring Street.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., near Palm Avenue on October 22nd. 

According to reports, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz was traveling at high speeds and went airborne before crashing into the second floor of a home. 

Officers arrived and discovered two people, a man in his twenties and a 12-year-old boy, lying beneath the Mercedes. Paramedics arrived and treated the two victims before transporting them to a nearby hospital.

Furthermore, SDG&E secured a nearby gas line, which the car narrowly avoided before crashing into the house. Meantime, CHP officials are still investigating the crash and will release further information once available.
