1 Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident near Grimes Road

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (November 7, 2022) – Friday evening, one driver was killed in a head-on collision on Tracy Boulevard.

The crash occurred the evening of October 21st, near Grimes Road. Reports indicate that the collision involved a pickup-truck and another vehicle.

However, investigators say the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. Emergency crews arrived and located both drivers, however, one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the other involved driver suffered minor injuries. Authorities also withheld the names of all parties involved until their families are notified. 

California Highway Patrol officers stated that it is uncertain at this time if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident. Although, an active investigation into the head-on collision on Tracy Boulevard is still underway.
