20-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash near Amarillo Avenue
LA MESA, CA (November 3, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, one man was pronounced dead after a car accident on Dallas Street.
The collision occurred around 6:30 a.m., near Amarillo Avenue in the city of La Mesa.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a parked car and careened into a nearby pole.
Emergency responders arrived and transported the male driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, the 20-year-old victim later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.
In the end, authorities closed both directions of Dallas Street for several hours. Investigators said that points of speed and driver impairment are possible factors.
