Man Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash near East Juarez Street
TUCSON, AZ (November 2, 2022) – Late Thursday, Samantha Elizabeth Sandidge was arrested following a fatal hit-and-run incident on Alveron Way.
The deadly crash happened on October 27th, at 9:45 p.m. involving a male pedestrian and a 2016 Acura ILX.
Initial investigations showed that the pedestrian was crossing on Alvernon Way near an unmarked crossway. There, a vehicle driven by Sandidge struck and killed him. Following the collision, Sandidge left the area without rendering aid to the victim.
Police were later able to contact Sandidge and arrested her near South Wilmot Road and East Broadway Boulevard.
At this time, the identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released. More information will be released once it becomes available.
