Officer Struck and Injured in DUI Accident near Florin Road
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 1, 2022) – Sunday morning, police arrested Jason Ezekiel Wullenwaber after an injury DUI collision at Stockton Boulevard.
The incident occurred at the area of Stockton Boulevard and Florin Road at around 12:30 a.m.
According to reports, one officer was at the scene of another fatal accident to help with the investigation, when a suspected drunk driver struck the officer.
Responding paramedics then rushed the officer, who sustained major injuries, to a hospital for further treatment. At this time, authorities withheld the name of the injured officer.
Meanwhile, Wullenwaber was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of felony DUI.
