31-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Tidewater Bike Path
MANTERA, CA (October 31, 2022) – Saturday night, Daniel Yanez was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Northgate Drive.
Police responded to the scene around 7:19 p.m., near the Tidewater Bike Path on October 22nd.
According to reports, the driver of a pickup-truck struck 31-year-old Yanez in the area. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured victim.
Medics arrived and transported Yanez to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
