Three Pronounced Dead after Fiery Car Accident near Sierra Avenue
FONTANA, CA (October 31, 2022) – Late Monday night, Olga Danilova and Brian Joel Melina were killed in a wrong-way crash on 15 Freeway
Authorities responded to the scene around 11:40 p.m., on the southbound lanes of the highway near Sierra Avenue on October 24th.
Per reports, the driver of a vehicle was heading north at high rates of speed and collided with another vehicle. Upon impact, one of the vehicles became engulfed in flames.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced three victims dead at the scene. Police identified two of the deceased victims as 57-year-old Danilova, of Glendale and 20-year-old Melina, of Rialto.
Emergency crews closed off the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. The lanes were later reopened around 7:30 a.m., on Tuesday.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
