Bicyclist Struck and Injured in Accident near Central Avenue

FRESNO, CA (October 28, 2022) – Saturday evening, one victim sustained injuries in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Fig Avenue.

The incident happened just before 7:00 p.m., on Central Avenue on October 22nd.

According to reports, the bicyclist was riding along the road when a vehicle struck them. Upon impact, the driver of the vehicle left the scene without rendering aid to the victim. Afterward, a witness stopped and helped the cyclist until medical crews arrived.

Responding deputies transported the cyclist to Community Regional Medical where he was treated for serious injuries.
