2 Killed, 2 Injured Injured in Solo-Car Collision on Fairway Road

PINE COUNTY, CA (October 20, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, two victims were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Pokegama Lake Road.

The incident happened around 1:49 a.m., near Fairway Road on October 15th.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a vehicle occupied by four young adults lost control and crashed. Officers responded to the scene and pronounced a 20-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics treated a 19-year-old woman at the scene and airlifted an 18-year-old man to North Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Officials then closed down the area surrounding the crash to perform cleanup and preliminary duties.
