14-Year-Old Dirt Bike Rider Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident near Homeland Avenue
HOMELAND, CA (October 20, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, James Bond was killed in a dirt bike crash on McWade Avenue.
The incident happened around 2:36 p.m., near Homeland Avenue on October 15th.
According to police, the crash involved a dirt bike operated by 14-year-old Bond and a Mazda CX-5 driven by an unidentified 58-year-old man.
Officers say Bond was heading east on McWade Avenue when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the Mazda.
Upon impact, Bond was ejected from his dirt bike onto the road. Meanwhile, the Mazda continued to drive southeast until it collided with a parked Jeep Liberty.
Eventually, medics pronounced Bond dead at the scene, due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the Mazda driver and his 72-year-old passenger, both suffered minor injuries and emergency crews transported the passenger to Hemet Hospital.
