PHOENIX, AZ (October 19, 2022) – On Friday, one man was injured following a two-vehicle crash near 67th Avenue.
According to police, a man fell asleep in his car near the 67th Avenue off-ramp when another person woke him up.
As the man woke up he began to reverse and went down an embankment where he then crashed into the center wall.
Furthermore, a pickup truck was not able to stop and avoid a collided with the man’s vehicle.
As a result, the man suffered major injuries, while the truck driver was expected to recover.
Meanwhile, the eastbound lanes of I-10 were blocked during the investigations but it has reopened since.
