Magalia Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident near Clark Road
PARADISE, CA (October 14, 2022) – Monday evening, 40-year-old Logan Awalt died after a head-on collision on Skyway.
The incident occurred on October 3rd, after 5:00 p,.m. on the 9300 block of Skyway near Clark Road.
According to reports, Awalt was riding his motorcycle south along Skyway when, for reasons unknown, he crossed over the double yellow line and collided head-on with an SUV. The impact of the collision ejected Awalt from his motorcycle.
California Highway Patrol responded to the site of the collision shortly after. There, officials pronounced 40-year-old Logan Awalt of Magalia dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries.
Afterward, the area between Clark and Pentz roads was closed off for a brief time during cleanup.
