1 Killed in Solo-Car Crash on Tyler Foote Road [Nevada County, CA]
5-Year-Old Child Dies after a Sing-Vehicle Crash on Tyler Foote Road near Oak Tree Road
NEVADA COUNTY, CA (October 14, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a pickup truck crash on Tyler Foote Road claimed the life of a 5-year-old child.
The fatal accident happened on October 11th, at around 9:10 a.m. just east of Oak Tree Road involving a 1993 Toyota pickup.
According to reports, Dylan Baggett was traveling in a Toyota pickup with his 5-year-old passenger. The vehicle veered off the road and went down on an embankment, struck a pine tree, and rolled over.
Baggett was then able to get out of the vehicle but the child was trapped inside. When police and medical crews arrived, they extricated the child with serious injuries. Medics then transported her to UC Davis Children’s Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries
