72-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck near Bolsa Avenue

WESTMINSTER, CA (October 13, 2022) – Monday morning, a pedestrian accident on Hope Street claimed the life of a woman. 

The fatal collision happened just before 10:00 a.m., near Bolsa Avenue. 

Per reports, the driver of a truck was turning left onto Hope Street and hit a pedestrian who was walking in the area. 

Due to the impact of the crash, the 72-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. However, her name has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Following preliminary duties, police do not suspect intoxication to be a factor in the crash. At this time, no arrests have been made by the police.

An active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
