Damario Williams Dies in Rollover Crash on Highway 299 [Trinity River, CA]
30-Year-Old Man Killed in Solo-Car Collision near Slattery Gulch Road
TRINITY RIVER, CA (October 12, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a rollover crash on Highway 299 claimed the life of Damario Williams.
The accident occurred on October 1st, at around 4:00 a.m. just east of Slattery Gulch Road.
According to reports, Williams was driving a white Chevrolet Suburban along the highway when, for reasons currently unclear, the vehicle veered off the road. The Suburban ended up flipped over on the side of Highway 299.
When first responders arrived, they discovered Williams had been ejected from his vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. Officials pronounced 30-year-old Williams of Manchester, Jamaica dead at the scene.
At this time, local authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the fatal crash to contact them immediately. In the meantime, an active investigation is still ongoing.
