One Killed in Car Accident on Highway 41 [Atascadero, CA]
Traffic Accident on Old Morro Road Resulted in One Fatality
ATASCADERO, CA (October 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a car accident on Highway 41 claimed the life of one person.
The collision happened at around 11:36 a.m. along Old Morro Road.
According to reports, a driver was heading west when their vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic. There, the vehicle collided with another vehicle going in the opposite direction. Meanwhile, a third driver was involved and collided with a telephone pole.
Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after and declared one driver dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment of severe injuries. The third driver was uninjured from the wreck.
