Man Injured in Bicycle Collision near Via Vera Cruz
SAN MARCOS, CA (September 23, 2022) – Tuesday morning, an elderly man was injured in a bicycle crash on San Marcos Boulevard.
The collision happened around 9:15 a.m., at the San Marcos Boulevard and Via Vera Cruz intersection.
According to reports, a 23-year-old motorist was driving along the road when he struck a 70-year-old bicyclist. The impact of the collision left the bicyclist with serious injuries.
Paramedics then transported the 70-year-old bicyclist to Palomar Medical Center for further treatment. The driver of the involved vehicle was unharmed.
