Two Dead, 1 Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Collision near Main Street

VICTORVILLE, CA (September 14, 2022) – Monday morning, two victims were killed and one was injured in a semi-truck crash on Interstate 15.

The deadly collision happened around 4:56 a.m., on I-15 between Bear Valley Road and Main Street.

Crews say the crash involves two-tractor trailers, a white van, and a work vehicle. However, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding firefighters arrived and declared two people dead at the scene. However, their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, crews used the Jaws of Life to extricate another victim who was later airlifted via Mercy Air helicopter to Antelope Valley Hospital.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Those with further information about the crash on Interstate 15 are encouraged to contact Victorville Officials as soon as possible.
