Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on Conner Street [Porterville, CA]
Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision on Springville Avenue
PORTERVILLE, CA (September 14, 2022) – Saturday night, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Conner Street.
The fatal incident occurred just after 9:00 p.m., near Springville Avenue.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a 53-year-old man while he was crossing the street. Investigators say the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing at the time.
Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the man to Sierra View Medical where he was later pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
At this time, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. Those with further information regarding the pedestrian crash are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
