Three Dead after Big-Rig Collision on Sunset Boulevard
ARVIN, CA (September 14, 2022) – Friday night, Martha Alicia Flores, Monte Harold Johnson and Carlos Cruz Serna were killed in an accident.
The crash happened just after 10:00 p.m., at the intersection of Malaga Road and Sunset Boulevard.
Per reports, the driver of a blue 2017 tractor-trailer failed to stop at the posted stop sign. As a result, the semi-truck broadsided the driver’s side of a 1997 Honda.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced three occupants inside the Honda dead at the scene. The Coroner’s office later identified two of the deceased victims as 48-year-old Flores, of Arvin and 65-year-old Johnson, of Arvin.
