Driver Dead after Solo-Car Rollover Collision on Cornelia Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 2, 2022) – Friday, Armondo Leyton Reyes was pronounced dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Lincoln Avenue.
The incident happened on August 26th, near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Cornelia Avenue.
According to reports, Reyes was driving a Dodge Dakota east on Lincoln Avenue when he drifted off the highway. As the vehicle veered, Reyes lost control and the Dakota rolled over. The impact of the crash left Reyes with fatal injuries.
Medics arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced Reyes dead at the scene.
Crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, it is unknown whether or not drugs or alcohol contributed to the collision.
