Multiple Injured in Red Light 3-Car Crash near Interstate 15
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 29, 2022) – Monday, Jeremy Flores was arrested and three were hospitalized after a DUI crash on Bear Valley Road.
Police responded to the scene around 11:15 p.m., near the Interstate 15 overpass on August 22nd.
Furthermore, police said the accident involved a white 2019 Chevy Camaro, driven by Flores and two other vehicles. A witness told officers that Flores was traveling at speeds upwards of 70 mph when he ran the red light at the intersection.
There, Flores struck a red sedan and another vehicle. The impact ejected a 29-year-old driver from the second vehicle from his car onto the road. He and his 4-year-old son, who was sitting in the rear seat, suffered serious injuries.
Medics transported both the driver and his son to a hospital by Emergency Medical Services. Crews also took the third victim, a 63-year-old driver of the third vehicle, to a local hospital for treatment of various injuries.
Furthermore, police say the Chevy had a strong odor of alcohol. As a result, officers took 33-year-old Flores, of Victorville into custody at High Desert Detention Center with DUI charges causing injury. Meanwhile, a witness said that Flores was falling and could barely walk.
