One Killed in Three-Car Collision on Monument Boulevard [Concord, CA]

84-Year-Old Man Dead after Traffic Accident on Lacey Lane

CONCORD, CA (August 23, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a three-car collision on Monument Boulevard claimed the life of an 84-year-old man.

The incident happened on August 17th, at around 5:53 p.m., at the intersection of Monument and Lacey Lane involving three vehicles.

According to reports, three vehicles collided in the intersection. Due to the impact of the collision, the 84-year-old man sustained serious injuries.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the site of the accident. When they arrived, medics pronounced the 84-year-old man dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released by the authorities at this time.

Moreover, the other two involved drivers remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities, no other injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, lanes on Monument Boulevard between Lacey and Reganti Drive were shut down for several hours to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but it has reopened since.
