The incident happened around 12:30 a.m., just north of Las Pulgas Road.
According to reports, Williams, riding a Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle, hit the rear end of an empty horse trailer attached to a Ford F250 pickup truck.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash shortly after and declared 20-year-old Griffin Williams dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford F250 was unharmed in the incident.
Officials closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. They then reopened the road a short time later.
At this time, police have not released any further information about the crash. However, authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision.
