Three Injured in Two-Car Collision on First Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (August 18, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a woman was airlifted following a 2-vehicle crash on Eucalyptus Street.
The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m., on August 16th. Emergency crews responded to the scene at the First Avenue and Eucalyptus Street intersection.
Investigators said the crash involved a black Toyota Corolla and a black Honda Accord. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Firefighters arrived and used tools to extricate one woman who was trapped inside the Corolla. Paramedics then airlifted the victim to a nearby trauma center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the male Honda driver sustained an ankle injury while his female passenger sustained minor injuries. Both occupants were eventually transferred to a nearby hospital.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, Hesperia Officials continue to investigate the Eucalyptus Street crash.
