Toddler Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision on Lamb Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 15, 2022) – Early Thursday night, a 3-year-old child was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on Roxella Lane.
The incident happened around 5:22 p.m., near Bonanza Road and Lamb Boulevard, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
According to reports, the driver of a 2022 Toyota Highlander made a U-turn at the intersection as the 3-year-old toddler ran towards the vehicle. There, the kid was struck and ran over by the Toyota.
Medics arrived and transported the young pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Following preliminary duties, the driver of the Toyota was not suspected to be impaired. At this time, further circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation.
