28-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Accident near Centennial High School

BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 10, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Tyler Jordan Bishop was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Riverlakes Drive.

The incident happened around 6:04 a.m., just west of Coffee Road. For reasons unknown, Bishop struck a curb while riding his motorcycle in the area.

Upon arrival, emergency crews pronounced 28-year-old Bishop dead at the scene. Although, further events leading up to the collision are still under active investigation.

Furthermore, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

Following preliminary investigations, it was unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. At this time, further investigations are still underway.
