David Wright III Dies in 2-Car Collision on 20th Street East [Palmdale, CA]
18-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash near Avenue R-12
PALMDALE, CA (August 1, 2022) – Police responded to a crash on 20th Street East that left David Wright III dead, Sunday morning.
On July 17th, at around 4:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to a crash involving a 2018 Dodge Durango and a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Wright.
Furthermore, the report stated that the 25-year-old driver of Dodge was heading north on 20th Street East when it collided with Wright attempting to turn left.
Moreover, Wright was pushed northwest into a wall after being struck. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, following the collision.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Authorities have no released the identity of any of the other involved individuals at this time.
Meanwhile, no other information was disclosed. Further investigations about what caused the crash is still ongoing.
