Traffic Accident near Pachappa Drive Left Two Hurt

RIVERSIDE, CA (August 3, 2022) – On Saturday, a single-car crash on Jurupa Avenue sent two men to the hospital, police said.

The accident occurred around 2:18 a.m. along Jurupa Avenue and Pachappa Drive, within the Magnolia Center neighborhood.

Furthermore, according to reports, their vehicle veered off the road, over a barrier, and into a railroad for unknown reasons.

Consequently, both men managed to exit the car, but rescuers had to pull them from the trench.

Paramedics then transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment. According to officials, one man suffered critical injuries while the other suffered minor ones.

Moreover, officials stated that the accident briefly disrupted Union Pacific Railroad trains that were using the tracks where the vehicle fell.
