Fatal Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 10 and Interstate 17 [Phoenix, AZ]

PHOENIX, AZ (August 3, 2022) – Early Monday morning, police responded to a semi-truck accident on Interstate 10 that left one victim dead.
The incident happened around 6:15 a.m., near Interstate 17 on July 15th.
For reasons under investigation, a semi-truck jackknifed on the highway. However, further events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety declared the semi-truck driver dead at the scene. They also said that the truck struck an overpass pillar.
At this time, the cause of the fatal semi-truck accident on Interstate 10 was not yet determined. ADPS officers are still conducting additional and thorough investigations.
