1 Killed in Deadly Car Accident near Regency Lane
LAKE FOREST, CA (June 27, 2022) – Thursday morning, one person was killed after crashing into a parked semi-truck on Lake Forest Drive.
Police responded to the scene around 5:15 a.m., near Regency Lane. Per reports, the driver of an SUV crashed into a parked semi-truck for reasons unknown.
Paramedics arrived and transported the SUV driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, crews pronounced the SUV passenger dead at the scene.
At this time, authorities have not yet released the names of those involved.
Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
